Sprechstunde Musikwirtschaft: From Classical to NEXT: classical music – a living genre
Classical:NEXT is the largest international industry gathering for classical and – more broadly – art music professionals, bringing together the most imaginative minds, the most forward-thinking music, the boldest ideas and exciting new projects. Innovation is the key word, and each year representatives from all sectors come together to shape the future of the classical music industry.
This talk offers an insight into the world of Classical:NEXT, what it is, who it benefits and what we’ve learnt along the way. As the centre of the classical music scene, Classical:NEXT is a platform for the wide range of innovations in classical music and a focal point for anyone trying to gain a foothold and actively shape this sector. The event, which is taking place in Berlin again this year, offers Berliners numerous opportunities to get in touch with international professionals and artists, find new partners and inspiration and shows one side of the industry’s flourishing and cross-border art music.
