In the context of our events, in which we act as the organiser, or in which we are involved as a cooperation partner, we reserve the right to create, process, use and disseminate the image and sound recordings of speakers, participants and guests for public relations purposes, unless specified otherwise individually. This is indicated appropriately at both the electronic event registration, and at the event location.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) lit.f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide information about the content of the events, as part of our public relations work, to draw attention to similar events and their content and the work of the association, in order to be able to effectively form public opinion. This takes place, for example, in the form of articles and photo galleries on the website of our organisation, in our organisation’s newsletters and event-related publications.
The image and sound recordings made can also be used to present our offers on social media channels, in particular Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or XING.
Additionally, the image and sound recordings made in the context of our public events are also passed on to media representatives from newspapers, radio stations and online editors for editorial reporting, as part of our press work.
We also provide partner companies, partner organizations or partner institutions involved in the respective events with image and sound material for their individual follow-up reporting.
You can find a description of your rights as a participant in our data protection declaration.
