MW:M Live 2021: Back to live with 15 artists, three venues, and one highly influential music industry audience

MW:M Live 2021 is the third iteration of Most Wanted: Music’s showcase event, where 15 bands and solo artists from Europe will present themselves to a top-class professional audience. The artists are selected from across Germany – with a special focus on the federal state of Niedersachsen – as well as Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Belgium.

This year’s MW:M Live will take place on October 28th, the final night of Most Wanted: Music’s schedule, across three venues at the Kulturbrauerei – Kesselhaus, Maschinenhaus, and Frannz – with the aim of helping this hand-picked selection of up-and-coming artists to take the next step in their careers.  

The showcase arrives at the ideal time, as the industry is beginning once again to plan ahead for festivals and tours, and the newcomer artists will have the chance to show their talents to the invited audience of booking agents, managers, A&Rs, and media. The Berlin Music Commission (BMC) has worked hard as the showcase host to hunt out the most exciting and appropriate artists to perform. The evening’s acts include MODESHA, who will perform a set of chilly, modern R&B, and WEZN, who will bring innovative pop to the showcase event. The audience can also expect performances from the avant-garde Belgian hip-hop quintet Glauque, the evocative Hungarian electronic jazz performer Barabás Lőrinc, and four artists from this year’s Berlin Music Commission listen to berlin Compilation album – including Moses Charles’ catchy Soul/R&B, the bold and poetic hip-hop of Caxianne, and Joplyn, whose blend of modern Berlin sounds and emotive melodies has caught the attention of tastemakers and music fans alike.

The MW:M Live event will be run in accordance with 2G rules – where all attendees must provide a digital proof that they have received Covid-19 vaccinations or have recovered from infection. Concert start at 7 pm, doors at 6.30.
