Rave The Planet

Rave The Planet is a non-profit, community-driven organization based in Berlin dedicated to the spirit and culture of electronic dance music. We aim to promote and preserve this culture while raising awareness about key cultural, political, social, and ecological issues.

The name Rave The Planet reflects our belief that electronic music and rave culture can bring people together and inspire positive change.

Founded in 2019 by Dr. Motte, often referred to as the father of the Berlin Love Parade, Ellen Dosch-Roeingh, and a other cultural enthusiasts. The official launch took place on January 13, 2020.

MISSION

Rave The Planet’s activities include organizing techno events, cultural-political demonstrations, and educational initiatives, along with supporting cultural projects, and advocating for sustainability and social justice.

A core principle at Rave The Planet is zero tolerance for intolerance. Any form of discrimination – whether it’s racism, sexism, ableism, queerphobia, religious discrimination (such as antisemitism or Islamophobia), ageism, or any other type of exclusionary behavior – will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of collaboration. We are committed to a respectful and inclusive environment and expect the same from everyone working with us.

Through our work, we aim to make a lasting, positive contribution to techno and electronic music culture. We raise awareness, promote openness, empower diversity, and connect creatives. Step by step, we strive to deepen public understanding of our culture and enhance its acceptance.
