Piranha Arts is an independent creative company made in Berlin since 1987. And ever since then we are all about crossing borders – be they cultural, social, political or commercial – thus generating value for our network partners and communities. Drawing from 27 years of experience and innovation in the field of music and culture as a presenter and multiplier our team’s dynamic portfolio features at present six divisions.

These include our own key music networking events WOMEX – The World Music Expo and Classical:NEXT , as well as Piranha Consulting offering our international expertise to other events and conferences, e.g. Sounds of the Xity [China], Atlantic Music Expo [Cap Verde] and Portomusical [Brazil].

Piranha Arts also embraces Piranha Kultur with cutting edge festivals such as The Nights of Ramadan and ClubContemporaryClassical C3; Piranha Records label & publishing, introducing new sounds & artists from the world to the world; and Piranha Research, leading science projects in public private partnerships with SAP, the University of Leipzig, GEMA, Fraunhofer IDMT et al.
