In 1988, singer and composer Johannes Tibursky (aka Tibure/Tibor) founded his first band ISELOH together with keyboardist Todd Winston.

Their first vinyl single ” Forgotten Days” was released in 1988 on his own record label – KITCHEN RECORDS (LC 07493).

In 1990, the band, which had now grown to five members, changed its name to PRUSSIA and soon embarked on a series of tours through Germany and Scotland.

In 1995, their first longplayer CD “Dying Mother of 16 Sickly Kids” was released.   It was named “Record of the Week” by Berlin radio station Rock Radio B (now Radio Eins) and sold over 3,000 copies.

Later, three songs from PRUSSIA appear on compilations released by Transatlantic Management in Arizona, USA.

The foundation for the new label is laid and over the next few years various singles and albums by different bands are released.

In 2007, Johannes started a new solo project under the name TIBURSKY and has since established himself as a singer and producer on the international stage.  The BBC plays his song “Travel” on heavy rotation and many of his songs are used in various films and commercials.

A year later, Johannes founded the production company Kitchen.FM, whose unique sound results from the sophisticated and handmade approach to each project.  Numerous studio musicians/lyricists and singers are involved in commercial production soundtracks for companies such as Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Sparkasse and weg-de to name but a few.

At the same time, long-time friends Thorsten Eichhorst & Tim Meier found the film production company Kitchen Film Production and produce, among other things, the music videos for two TIBURSKY singles: “Travel” and “Keep on Rockin'” in Sweden.

Kitchen Records has also become a springboard for other bands. Current releases include the Berlin bands YUKAZU and CRASHCAPTAINS, as well as The JCC from Scotland.

In spring 2021, in the midst of the Corona pandemic, Johannes initiated, produced and released the CD sampler “GHOST CITY BERLIN” with 18 Berlin bands on Kitchen Records to counteract the restrictions on artists. Among them are Kitty Solaris, Herbst in Peking, Bobo in White Wooden Houses and Iris Romen.  Many interviews and airplay on Radio Eins, Deutschlandradio Kultur, MDR Kultur, as well as reviews in the TAZ, Tagesspiegel and various music magazines followed.

Johannes is currently working on various music theatre productions, but always finds time in between to finish his solo album together with various artists under the name TIBURSKY. It will be released on KITCHEN RECORDS in autumn. 3 singles (Settle Down, I Will Go Anywhere and The Same Inside) have already been released this year. With the help of camera and film friends, 3 beautiful music videos were created, shot in India, Canada and Austria.
