Alexander Peppler
MUSICIAN, SONGWRITING COACH, LECTURER
Musician, songwriting coach, lecturer for intercultural training and active in cultural politics.
He would like to support the BMC and music scene especially with coaching on the topics of songwriting, interculturality and diversity.
With more than 15 years of experience as a songwriter and currently four band projects, he accompanies aspiring songwriters/bands in their process of manifesting initial ideas into concrete songs with structure, atmosphere and authenticity. Together with a colleague he creates a plan of action, records first demo versions and is a constant contact for feedback. They pay special attention to the individual potentials and the USP of the musicians. Besides his own music, this is his main focus at the moment.
As a psychologist (B.A.) and systemic coach in the professional and career field (member of QRC – Qualitätsring Coaching und Beratung e.V.), intercultural and diverse teams are also close to his heart, because they play a key role in this time: How we create something new together, which exceeds the sum of the individual parts, because of and not despite our differences (e.g. in origin, age, gender), is something he examines and experiences daily in his work. As a lecturer for the Gesellschaft für Interkulturelles Zusammenleben gGmbH (Society for Intercultural Living Together), he currently teaches intercultural skills for professional groups of various kinds. He studied “Intercultural Communication” (M.A.) in Frankfurt (Oder), where he specialized in intercultural art and culture projects. Afterwards he worked in intercultural youth welfare.
He is active in cultural politics through two publications on intercultural music projects, as a member of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. and through volunteer work at festivals in Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder).
In the future, he would like to further combine coaching, music and interculturalism in his profession. He offers expertise and is looking forward to collaborations on songwriting workshops, intercultural music projects and (intercultural) team coaching.
