LISTEN TO BERLIN: LIVE beim Reeperbahn Festival
The Berlin Music Commission is bringing the sound of Berlin to the Reeperbahn Festival as part of the Berlin Level events. Look forward to a special showcase with four acts! Admission to INDRA starts at 19:00.
Hanna Leess will open the showcase evening from 19:30. Born in America, she is living her dream as a self-producing singer and multi-instrumentalist in Berlin. She combines her pop/folk sound with soulful stories in the vibrant Berlin music scene.
From 20:45pm, we can look forward to King Josephine, an independent composer and singer who seamlessly combines genres such as pop, blues, soul, R&B and hip-hop, inspired by her origins.
From 22:00pm, the Berlin band Prismala will combine their different musical backgrounds to create a spectrum of genres, moods and colours that blurs the boundaries between neo-soul, alternative rock and indie.
At 23:00pm, the stage belongs to the DJ duo Kalla b2b Lai Raw. Through their shared love of bouncy house and organic UK garage grooves, they will be playing groovy, jazzy and sub-bass-heavy tracks that will prolong the summer on the rooftops until the sun returns.
Entry is free for everyone with a festival pass!

Prismala
Prismala is the embodiment of many years of friendship and a deep connection – to each other and to music. Having grown up in the Berlin music scene, the band combines their different musical backgrounds to create a spectrum of genres, moods and colours that blurs the boundaries between neo-soul, alternative rock and indie. With the success of the single ‘Places To Be’ and a summer full of concerts, the project grew immensely within a short space of time. This momentum led to funding from Initiative Musik GmbH, with which Prismala recorded their album ‘It Gets Weirder’ at the legendary Kreuzberg studio Wong in December 2022 – their biggest project to date. The release of the album in June 2023 brought the band to the attention of an ever-growing audience.

Kalla und Lai Raw
Through their shared love of bouncy house and organic UK garage grooves, Kalla and Lai Raw began making music together years ago. Their collaboration laid the foundations for a lasting friendship that continues to this day. Although they’ve been producing individually for years and have established themselves in the Berlin underground scene, they’ve only recently started releasing their music together – with plenty of groovy, jazzy and sub-bass-heavy tracks that will prolong the summer on rooftops until the sun comes back. It’s clear that they both really enjoy what they do – they make you dance.
