listen to berlin: Awards 2020: These are the nominees

On the basis of numerous nomination submissions from members of Berlin’s music and creative industries, the jury created a shortlist for each award category, which we like to present to you. The winners will be announced here via livestream during the listen to berlin: Awards ceremony on the evening of November 3.

🌟 LISTEN TO BERLIN: AUDIENCE AWARD

The audience awards their favourite artists from this year’s listen to berlin Compilation.

The shortlist is the result of the pubic voting from October 5 till 18, 2020.

The prize is awarded for outstanding artistic achievement in the current listen to berlin compilation.

With this award category we want to make musicians visible who distinguish themselves by an outstanding artistic talent beyond conventional listening habits and are able to set creative impulses with their work.

The prize is awarded to a person, company or initiative that has rendered outstanding services to society or has shown civil courage in the Berlin music industry. The prize honours those who showed exemplary effort in creating an open society and advocated for diversity, tolerance, and integration of people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Berlin music industry.
