Diversity Equity Inclusion Project
DEI23 – Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
A project was to be created from the community of professional economic actors based in Berlin with the aim of achieving greater visibility, representation, awareness and empowerment for economic actors from marginalised groups, as well as increasing their economic success and the effectiveness of their services and products in and for the music industry.
To highlight the best practices of the DEI sector, a group of experts from the Berlin music industry with expertise in DEI (Achan Malonda, Nadia Says, Christine Seraphin und Thor Hagedorn) implemented the following activities under the DEI 2023 label on behalf of the BMC. At various events and podcasts, artists, cultural professionals and other DEI stakeholders from Berlin and beyond were introduced, networked and tested new technologies.
