BMC Backstage: Music meets Friends – allein zu Haus Edition

In December, Alexanderplatz and Gendarmenmarkt are usually full of gingerbread tourists, the stocks have been filled with enough speculoos and stollen for three months and there is hardly any room left in the calendar for Christmas parties. Since none of this can take place in 2020, we thought of something special to bring this difficult year to a close.

On 10 December 2020, we invited to our Backstage Music Meets Friends – Alone at Home Edition. On a winterly decorated digital platform, the members of Berlin’s music industry were able to come together and talk about the diverse experiences & results of 2020 in a personal atmosphere at the end of the year and discuss the first new topics for the coming year.

The traditional Secret Santa was brought into the digital space for 2020. Between music quizzes and a collectively singing session, the Secret Santa presents were unwrapped under the digital Christmas tree. It was a technical and social experiment that we will all remember.
