Consulting Music Business “Step by step – Time management and other soft skills in the home office”
The Consultation Music Business is an open network format for exchange, advice and problem analysis. The main focus for this event is on the development of strategies for companies, advice on cooperation and funding, management of finances, copyright and the optimization and management of processes.
For more than a year, many offices have been closed, activities that do not have to be carried out in the workplace itself for compelling reasons are done in the home office and meetings only take place via video conference. Yet the home office situation can quickly become confusing as the lines between work, leisure, childcare and household become blurred. Lucy Larbi explained in the consultation how the current circumstances can best be used.
Lucy Larbi is a future thinker and consultant for medium-sized and large German companies dealing with digital transformation. Networking instead of rigid hierarchical organizational structures, collaboration instead of authority, leadership instead of micromanagement, reactivity instead of following a long-term operational plan – this is the new way forward. As an analyst at the United Nations and currently as a business consultant for digital transformation at Borisgloger Consulting, Lucy has proven herself in both work environments and is happy to say that she has fallen for the “new” way of working – agile, goal-oriented and iterative.
Lucy is also the Regional Manager of Future of Ghana Germany – a diaspora organization that aims to diversify the German economy through the presence of Afro-German professionals.
In the dialogue with the participants, she addressed the following topics, among others:
- Management of time and work in the home office
- Presentation of innovative online tools (e.g. working with a Miro Board)
- Circle work as an online meeting culture.
