MOST WANTED: MUSIC
The most important music business event in Berlin.
Launched in 2014 as part of the Berlin Music Week conference program, Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) has evolved into Berlin’s leading event for the professional music and creative industries. Its goals: to promote practical knowledge, foster networking and exchange, and explore new perspectives and business models for the industry. Through results-oriented workshops, panels, talks and matchmaking sessions, MW:M addresses the most relevant issues of the moment and delivers real value. In 2019, the conference was expanded to include the showcase event and festival MW:M Live.

MW:M Convention
Two days of forward-looking content: In keynotes, panels and workshops, MW:M Convention explores the transformation of the music industry – focusing on Business, Social Impact, Technology and Scene. The convention provides space for exchange, knowledge transfer and strategic networking.
MW:M Live
Discover a diverse lineup of international artists and emerging talent across multiple stages at Berlin’s Kulturbrauerei. MW:M Live spotlights the sounds of tomorrow – curated, cross-genre and cutting-edge.
MW:M Research
This dedicated track connects academic perspectives with industry practice. It features interdisciplinary contributions that analyse, reflect on and shape the ongoing evolution of music as both a cultural and economic force.

MW:M25 is the future forum for the music industry – where professionals from music, tech, business and culture come together to help shape what’s next. Under the 2025 theme TRANSFORM!, MW:M will ask critical questions: How can music become a driver of social, technological and economic change? What answers can be found in practice, research and innovation?
Across four thematic tracks – Business, Social Impact, NextTech and Scene – expertise meets vision. MW:M25 will once again welcome participants from over 20 countries.
MW:M + LISTEN TO BERLIN
Most Wanted: Music 2025 (MW:M25) will again take place in parallel with the LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS and LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH. Together, these events create a shared space that empowers the next generation to actively co-shape the future of the music industry.
