Music Ambassador Delegation – POP X KOSMOS Chemnitz: german czech music dialogue
As part of the Music Ambassador Program, we support individual players and small and medium-sized enterprises in establishing contacts in the international music business.
In cooperation wit Kreatives Sachsen, Soundczech und Kreativní Praha we coordinate the german czech music dialogue.
In the European Capital of Culture, Chemnitz, German and Czech music professionals come together to network, exchange ideas, and forge new collaborations. Applications for Delegate participation are now open.
The offer is aimed at music companies and solo entrepreneurs from Germany and the Czech Republic who want to network across borders and collaborate.
Expect inspiring discussions with key players from the German and Czech music industries, exciting insights into music export and initiatives, and a diverse live program as part of KOSMOS Chemnitz and POPxKOSMOS.

Accommodation costs (one overnight stay from June 13th to June 14th 2025) including catering, will be covered for the selected delegates. Travel expenses can be reimbursed from €50.00 up to a maximum of €200.00, provided they are correctly invoiced and receipts are submitted after the trip (depending on travelling distance to Chemnitz). Other incurred costs, such as public transport at the conference venue or daily allowances, cannot be reimbursed.

Registration is only possible and binding via the linked form. All required fields must be filled out truthfully. The project partners will select up to 30 delegates after the application deadline (12 from Germany and 18 from Czech Republic). Applicants will be notified of the decision by email.
/// PROCESS
You can apply for the program until april 30th. All Applicants are informed by May 15th if they can take part. Note: If there are more applications than there are free spots, the program partners select from all of the applications. The collaboration potential and matching character of the delegates are crucial here. The final delegates are invited to a digital preparatory session (date: TBA) to get to know the other delegates and get informed about the schedule of the program.
The exchange is part of POPxKOSMOS, a multi-day conference and dialogue format featuring various events organized by the Bundesverband Popularmusik e.V., the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e.V., KREATIVES SACHSEN and the KOSMOS Chemnitz.
The project is funded by the Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds and the Stadt Prag.
