We would like to invite you to a series of workshops that will take place as part of the Sustainability Knowledge Hub. The three workshops will take place at the beginning of November and are free of charge. Unfortunately, only a limited number of participants can take part – places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can find all further information below.

This hands-on workshop offers an overview of your options as an artist/booking agency to organise more environmentally and climate-friendly events. You will learn the most important theoretical knowledge and plan your first practical steps. There will be time for questions and all participants will receive valuable tips for further action and for deepening the topic independently.
Annekathrin Otto is an experienced project manager, sustainability consultant and funding expert.She is passionate about promoting ecological and social sustainability in the field of culture and events.As a trained event manager, communications manager, systemic coach and transformation manager for sustainable culture and with more than 24 years of practical experience in the cultural sector, she brings a strong package of skills and professional experience to the table.For many years at the Four Artists Booking Agency, she managed tours and one-off shows for artists such as Clueso, Turntablerocker and Nena. She worked for several years as a freelance PR consultant for companies in the environmental, social and cultural sectors. Another important part of her wealth of experience is her work as a sustainability and funding expert for the electro festival Wilde Möhre and for the cultural festival Lausitz Festival.
Workshop #3: Certified sustainable event management according to DIN ISO 20121

Workshop Description:
Gain a practical insight into mediapool’s DIN ISO 20121-certified sustainable event management system. In this workshop you will learn how such a system is structured and implemented and what it actually means to be ISO 20121 certified in practice. Find out what challenges and opportunities are associated with such certification and how it can enable sustainably successful events.
Nicole Wuttke
Nicole Wuttke has been Managing Director of mediapool Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH since November 2024 and heads the Sustainable Event Management and Conception departments. With over 15 years of experience in the music, politics and culture sector, she has achieved DIN ISO 20121 certification for mediapool several times. She is also a member of the supervisory board and spokesperson for the ak:n of the Berlin Music Commission as well as a lecturer at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences.
Alan Daoud (he/him)
Transformation and Sustainability Manager at mediapool, responsible for the internal implementation, further development and maintenance of the sustainability management system in accordance with DIN ISO 20121 and external consultation
