Sprechstunde Musikwirtschaft – Do-It-Yourself or Book-A-Professional?
Title of the consultation: Promo & Marketing: Do-It-Yourself or Book-A-Professional?
When it comes to releasing your own music, the question quickly arises: Should I actually do promotional work or marketing for my release? The answer is usually yes, but the much more important question is: To what extent can I, as a musician, do my own promotion and marketing? What is the difference between the two things and where do I want to focus? Do I have enough resources to deal with it myself or is it worthwhile for me to work with professionals in marketing and PR? And how do I pay attention to my capacities, my money and my musical goals in all of this?

About Nelleke Schmidt
Nelleke Schmidt is an artist and tour manager, product manager & music promoter from Berlin.
