On June 20, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Fête de la Musique took place at Tempelhof Harbour. The event with a floating stage offered guests an unforgettable musical experience.
After opening speeches by Björn Döring, Olaf Gemse Kretschmar, Jörn Oltmann and Tobias Dollase, who emphasized the importance of music for the community and culture, the musical program began. The walking band Terra Brasilis opened the evening, followed by the musical class of the Leo Kestenberg Music School.
A special highlight of the evening were the Listen to Berlin artists WR51, Phileas and King Josephine. With their rousing performances, they created an exuberant atmosphere and delighted the audience.
The floating stage lent the event a special atmosphere and turned the performances into visual and acoustic highlights. The opening ceremony attracted music lovers from all over Berlin and promised more exciting events as part of the music festival, which was once again a highlight of the Berlin Summer of Culture this year.
